Technological advance is relentless in nearly all areas of human endeavour and the industry of test and measurement instruments is no exception, particularly the field of power quality analysis (PQA). Standards change quickly, working conditions are becoming more challenging and users demand more able tools, but at competitive prices. Amongst their demands is also greater, nearly Class A accuracy.
We have of course heard their pleas and decided to improve the accuracy of our most popular power quality analyser – MI 2885 Master Q4. This intermediate level analyser now boasts 0.1 % accuracy. It is still classified as a Class S device, but is now even more versatile, especially when it comes to applications where extra precise measurements are required.
