Metrel PQA: FW and SW Updates

Constant improvement is one of the pillars of Metrel’s corporate philosophy, and one of the reasons why we are launching new products at a rapid pace and regularly improving existing ones. Firmware and software for our power quality analysers is no exception.

Firmware updates:
- For the MI 2893 Power Master XT:
- Transient detection for 3W (three wire) and OpenD connection can be selected between phases (N selection) or phase and ground (GND selection). Users can detect phase peak voltages in relation to ground (for these two connections).
- For the MI 2883 Energy Master, MI 2884 Energy Master XA, MI 2885 Master Q4, MI 2892 Power Master, MI 2893 Power Master XT:
- Simplified connection setup selection with PREV/NEXT cursor.

- Improvements to communication between the analyser and smart current clamps.
|
|
Software (SW 0802 PowerView3) updates:
- Improvements to icon re-sizing during display resolution change.
- Direct register export to Excel from current selection (from the table/trend chart) view (export -> currently visible).
- Addition of Sondesee XX.3 report (reactive energy test for photovoltaic installations according to Slovenian technical specifications).
- Selection of included event information in custom reports.
- Manual scaling of Y-axis (set visible bounds).
- Phase values calculation for the 3W connection.
- Preselection of registers for standard data view & analysis (visible nodes filter).
- Upgrade of remote parameter change functionality.
- Voltage deviation presentation for high voltage in accordance with the EN 50160 standard (with predefined custom limits).
- Minor bug fixes.

New firmware updates for the listed power quality analysers and SW 0802 PowerView3 updates can be downloaded through the SW 0802 PowerView3 download server.
