Metrel newsletter EVSE RCD testing: MI 3100 and MI 3102  We have released new firmware (FW) for the MI 3100 SE EurotestEASI, MI 3102 BT EurotestXE, and MI 3102H BT EurotestXE 2,5 kV. With this new FW, the testers can now perform impedance measurements (using the A 1532 EVSE adapter or A 1532 XA EVSE adapter) on electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) with 6 mA RCDMs. More specifically, the testers have a new parameter to choose from in the “Zs rcd” test setup menu. The users can from now on choose “Std”/standard test current for impedance testing on RCD protected circuits or “Low”/lower test current for impedance testing on an EVSE.
